Exciting news and updates!!!

October 14, 2008

To those of you that don’t know yet, WE are officially pregnant. The thought of bringing a new life into the world under my watch is in some ways daunting, but I am sure we’ll get through it ;)

Seeing the pictures of the baby was a blessing and a joy. The technology that they have now in order to view the little “guy” or girl is amazing. So, every month will bring doctors visits and such now. Please keeps us in your prayers as we beging this new new chapter of our journey!!!

The end of Summer…officially.

October 7, 2008

I don’t know about where you are, but it has officially switched to a much milder temperature, and thank God. It was about time. I love the concept of summer, especially when shorts are involved. But for those of us that still haven’t found a permanent way to wear shorts AND make good money, pant wearing and summer just don’t go together.

As it cools and the leaves fall, I will be thankful. It seems that this fall doesn’t however bring a milder schedule with it. In fact as time goes on, it gets busier and busier. I can’t really complain at this fact, but merely make an observation as to what it was like this time last year. Clearly in quite different places. I had just started coming to church at this time last year, and was still a little out of the loop. I am sure as the next couple weeks and months go on, I will start to feel the missing pieces of certain people weighing rather heavily. Our church chugs on, holding on to our bits and pieces, and picking up new limbs.

Things to come: a worship leaders retreat, hopefully some kind of “real” honeymoon. I suggest somwhere with sun and clear ocean waters. We’ll see. Church and Sunday School of course. We have work ALWAYS. I am consulting on a English Day concert for a Bucheon public school. It should be fun. I get to direct a bunch of plays and songs. Putting the old college skills to use, yay! Other than that, nothin doing…well, there always is, but more for later!
